We are closing in
The work with all the comments on the specifications in the eArchiving building block is in full speed forward and we are soon going to release them.
We are taking part in conferences, spreading the word and knowledge. Last week in Berlin next week some of the colleagues will be in Ljubljana for the geodata conference.

For XML Prague my big take away is that we need to speak more about the fact that we use XML!

Big word is LOD and Schema.org and the additon waiting for approval with archival terms.
Happy to hear more and more uses of PREMIS even if I sometimes wanted to scream: Use PREMIS instead of making it up!
Work with TS EAS moves on and the revision of EAC-CPF in phase one is going on. EAD and its user survey is in it final phase and the update is already published.
A lot of things happening! You need to keep your eyes open!

A new book
Has been released! Its about digital preservation and PREMIS. I’ve written a chapter. What a thing to do!
I’ve presented it at the managment board for the National Archives of Sweden resulting in the national archivist instagramming this: Riksarkivarien at Instagram
At XML Prague
Just found out I have some reading an investegation todo. URI’s are starting to getreplaced by IRI’s. Where the later can handle more different letters than the first one.
